I'm pretty stoked about the Avs so far without Granato...seems they've instilled some work ethic in the team. And Duchene, while he's not finishing...yet, has looked outstanding. That, and Anderson may be the real deal. It's been a couple years since I've been excited about watching my team. And thank God for free Center Ice. I'm fairly new to the forums, but expect I'll be hanging around the hockey thread all year.
Sure glad Hockey is back!!! But losing the Mule for 4 months is going to suck!!!! They finally show some life then this. Heck the Wings even have a fighting major already this year!!!
I hear ya about Franzen...my brother is a die hard wings fan, had to text him while at work yesterday and tell him the news. He already had a bad feeling about this season, and I'm sure this didnt help. Pens seem to be getting into at LEAST one fight per game so far (Mainly Godard) but I'm ok with it, that's what he was brought in for.... Choffman, the Avs are looking pretty good this year, Anderson already with a shutout, and Wolski is playing like a superstar. Hopefully they both keep it up
I hear ya Fletch I like a good scrap. Wings haven't had a good heavy weight fighter in a long time. I like Godard, he had some great scraps with Colton Orr over the last few years. Wish we had some one like him. I like May but he's not in Godard's class.
I caught the tail end of that game! What a big goal by Bill Guerin! I think my beloved Wings are starting to get there crap together. Now if they can keep it going for a while!
that was indeed a crazy game...looks like we're snapping out of our slump finally...even though our defense is completely depleted....big win against the ducks tonight!
